How can I give / Compensate Artists on MooZar?
1. Create your basket by adding works, after having searched either manually by typing the title or artist name in the search bar or by using the Application MooZar.
2. Sign In: Create an account and login, if you wish.
3. Verify and validate your selection.
4. If you already have an account, and you have identified yourself, confirm the selection
5. Go ahead with the payment of your basket.
6. At any time you will be able, if we can identify you, to check your history and print the plea agreement. MooZar stores your gestures and agreements.

Is it possible to make a donation without creating an account?
Yes, you can make an anonymous donation; you don’t have to register on MooZar. But in that case, we won’t be able to store your gesture and deliver you the agreement between you and the artist (or its right holder).

Is it legal to make a donation or compensate on MooZar?
Yes, MooZar was commissioned by the Artists, the authors, the composers and the beneficiaries listed on its website to receive donations and compensations on their behalf.
What is the difference between a donation and compensation?
A donation is a monetary gratification given by the internet user to the artist or its rights holder without counterpart.
Compensation is an amount of money given to the artist (or its beneficiary) to compensate damage, an injury.
With MooZar, the payment superior to the amount desired by the artist (or its right holder) settles the dispute that arose from the unauthorised reproduction of the work.
The plea agreement concluded for the means of compensation is a contract between the internet user and the artist (or its right holder) that settles the dispute born in the event of unauthorised reproduction of the work
Why should I give or compensate?
If you enjoy the work, then make a gesture.
By giving, you thank, compliment and encourage the artist for his work.
If you have reproduced a work without authorisation, you haven’t rewarded the Artist.
Depriving the artist of a reward, you harm him and you damage creation.
If you compensate, you repair the injury.
Do I have a certificate, a proof of the donation or compensation?
Yes if you have registered and you are connected.
The contract testifying of the donation or the compensation is kept in the history of your account.
Who sets the amount of the compensation desired?
When the artist or the right holder owns the rights of reproduction, he alone determines the amount of compensation sought for the work
If I use the services proposed by MooZar can I be prosecuted?
Absolutely not!
MooZar collects donations/compensations for its constituents ( Artists, Entitled ...).
It is not illegal to donate. It is laudable to contribute to creation.
Using the web site does not mean the internet user admits he has reproduced work without authorisation, nor that he has illegal files. The simple action of making a donation is not a proof of repentance for illegal acts.
Even more, MooZar can not distinguish the internet users who have donated from the ones that have compensated.
MooZar does not keep a file of Counterfeiters, but a file of patrons.
In case of compensation how can I prove I have legally settled my dispute with the beneficiary?
By printing the plea agreement testifying of your compensation (kept in the history of your account)

MooZar sets to 30 cents the lowest donation you can make.
Who is benefits the donation?
For each work, in your basket, you can choose in the column « beneficiaries » the recipient of the gesture among our constituents (Artist, right holder….)
How can I be sure of the identity of the Beneficiary?
On “my basket” (“my cart”) page, in the column « beneficiary » there is a button « detail ».
If you click on that link, you will be able to consult the detailed information given by the beneficiary upon enrolment
Are you working for the music industry? Are you independent? A service provider? An intermediate? What would you say your position is?
MooZar is a private independent company, a necessary link between the Internet users and the Artists and Copyright holders
MooZar represents, according to a written mandate, the creation actors who wish to better their rights and to reconcile with the internet users.
All Artist (or claimants) registered on MooZar, agrees in case of compensation, not to pursue the Internet for the unauthorized reproduction of his work.
How can you check the illegal files that I have in my possession?
It is simply impossible!
MooZar is not able to distinguish the works legally owned from the ones copied without authorisation.
Further more, MooZar has no interest in identifying work exchanged without authorisation.
It belongs to the Internet user to identify the works and the beneficiary to whom he wishes to make a donation.
Who can have rights to a work?
There can be one or several authors, one or several composers, one or several performers, one or several editors, one or several producers, one or several collection societies as well as one or several right owners for those persons.
It depends one the type of work (video, photography, text, music )
It also depends on the territory.
The Internet user will insure the quality of the beneficiary (Among other, he will be able to see the information communicated by the artist or its right holder on the "detail" button)
What is a right holder or a copyright holder?
A right holder or a copyright holder is a person (with the consent of the artist) who owns whole or part of the operation rights:
- who has made the public performance of the artist possible,
- who manages the rights of the artist in the interest of the artist,
To whom the rights of the artist belong, by assignment, and therefore allowed him to withdraw capital from its creation and / or recurrent income

If MooZar Company ceases its activity, will the passed agreements still be valid?
Yes, the passed agreements will still be valid even in the event MooZar stops its activity.
The agreement operates between the Artist (or his right holder) and the Internet user. MooZar only represents the Artist (or his right holder)
If the agent (mandatory) disappears the agreement itself remains.
To provide proof of this agreement, you are advised to save it.
